Baked Spaghetti with Meat and Cream Sauces

Ingredients

  • Pork Mince 15 oz
  • Durum wheat 20 oz
  • Tomatoes 2 pieces
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Spanish onions 1 head
  • 10% cream 5 fl oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 1½ tablespoons
  • Fresh basil leaves to taste
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Herbs to taste
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Chocolate eggs 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sauté finely chopped garlic first for about 15–20 seconds. Then add the onion, sliced into thin half-rings. Sauté until fragrant and soft. After that, add the previously thawed ground meat to the skillet. Cook everything together until nicely browned, constantly breaking up the meat to avoid lumps.

Step 2

Next, add finely chopped tomatoes and sauté everything together for another 3 minutes. Then add the tomato paste and pour in half a glass of water. Simmer on low heat until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper, add basil, and finally, add the finely chopped clove of garlic.

Step 3

Mix 2 eggs, cream, salt, pepper, and basil. Whisk all together.

Step 4

Boil the spaghetti in salted water until cooked.

Step 5

Layer half of the cooked pasta tightly in a greased baking dish. Then evenly spread the meat sauce on top, sprinkling a small amount of grated Parmesan cheese over it. Cover the entire surface with the remaining pasta and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Carefully pour the egg-cream mixture over everything.

Step 6

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 300°F.

Step 7

Sprinkle the finished dish with herbs.
