Description

This dish is very healthy, won't harm those who are watching their figure, but will satisfy even a serious male appetite! As a side dish, boiled potatoes or fresh vegetables are suitable, or it can be served without any side, garnished only with a couple of lettuce leaves.

Ingredients

  • Salmon 1 piece
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Marinated cherries 5 pieces
  • Fresh basil leaves to taste
  • Dried Rosemary to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Ocean salt to taste
  • Spices to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the fresh salmon steak in a bowl, squeeze the lemon into it, sprinkle with spices, add salt, and pour in the olive oil.

Step 2

Cut the squeezed lemon into small pieces, lightly crush a couple of peeled garlic cloves with a knife, add the lemon and garlic to the steak, and coat the salmon in the mixture to ensure it is well and evenly marinated. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes.

Step 3

While the steak is marinating in the olive-lemon marinade, preheat the oven to 390°F (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit).

Step 4

If the cherry tomatoes are large, it’s better to cut them into quarters; if they are small, don’t touch them, but you can lightly score the skin. During baking, the tomatoes will burst anyway, so let them burst beautifully!

Step 5

Place the salmon on the foil, lift the edges, pour in the lemon-olive mixture, top with pieces of lemon and garlic, and then add the tomatoes. Close everything tightly, possibly with a double layer of foil to prevent leaking.

Step 6

Send it to the oven for 20–30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the piece.
