Baked Pumpkin with Fig and Apple
Appetizers • European
Description
This version of a fruit and vegetable casserole can be made with any other ingredients, substituting pumpkin or apple, adding onion or omitting garlic. The main secret of the dish is that sweet meets salty and bakes evenly. Sour cream can be replaced with yogurt, and ground pepper can be added if desired.
