Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 5 lbs
- Butter 10 oz
- Spanish onions 20 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves 6 pieces
- Italian chopped parsley to taste
- Balsamic Vinegar ¾ cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 2
Without peeling, slice the potatoes into thin rounds. Slice the onion into thin rings.
Step 3
Melt the butter in a large skillet and add the potatoes and onion. Stir well and cook, gently stirring, until the potatoes and onion are browned on both sides, about 10-15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then add the chopped sage leaves and half of the balsamic vinegar.
Step 4
Transfer to a baking dish, cover, and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove the lid, drizzle with vinegar, and bake uncovered for another 20-30 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
