Baked peppers with stracciatella
Ingredients
- Sweet Pepper 2 pieces
- Stracchino cheese 5 oz
- Garlic 1 clove
- Cilantro 0 oz
- Dried Rosemary ¼ spoons
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Paprika to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice to taste
- French Baguette to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 2
Roast the peppers in the oven until they are charred, about 20–30 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer the peppers to a bag for 10 minutes, then peel off the skin and remove the seeds.
Step 4
Slice the pepper into strips.
Step 5
Prepare the marinade. Start by finely chopping the garlic and cilantro.
Step 6
Mix the garlic and cilantro with oregano, paprika, salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice. Place the peppers in the marinade and let them sit for 30 minutes.
Step 7
Toast the bread slices in a dry skillet or toaster.
Step 8
Place the peppers on the toasted bread.
Step 9
Top with stracciatella.
Step 10
Drizzle with the marinade, garnish with cilantro, and serve.
