Ingredients
- Spanish onions 4 pieces
- Olive Oil to taste
- Chicken Broth ½ cup
- Breadcrumbs 0 oz
- Feta cheese 0 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves ½ teaspoon
- Parsley 0 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 445°F.
Step 2
Peel the onions, leaving the roots intact, and cut off the top third of each onion. Place them cut side down on a greased baking sheet and pour in the broth. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Carefully turn the onions over and bake for another 30 minutes until tender. Remove from the oven and preheat the broiler.
Step 4
In a bowl, mix the crumbled feta, breadcrumbs, parsley, thyme, and black pepper, mashing with a fork, and stuff the mixture into the cut side of the onions. Place under the broiler for about 1 minute until the cheese is browned.
