Baked Mushroom Pâté

Ingredients

  • Chicken Liver 20 oz
  • Sweet Red Onion 5 oz
  • Carrot 5 oz
  • Ham to taste
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Semolina 4 tablespoons
  • Fresh Mushrooms 5 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable Oil to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ketchup to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the chicken liver. Chop the carrot and onion coarsely. Pass the prepared ingredients through a meat grinder. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Add the egg and mix well. Carefully incorporate the semolina.

Step 3

Rinse the mushrooms, dry them, and slice them thinly. Combine with the liver mixture and let sit for 10 minutes. Then mix again. Optionally, add chopped ham.

Step 4

Grease a rectangular baking dish with oil (I used a silicone one). Spread the pâté evenly and cover tightly with foil.

Step 5

Bake at 430°F for 1 hour. Then cool and refrigerate overnight.

Step 6

Before serving, spread ketchup on the pâté.
