Description

Baked Ham with Maple-Mustard Glaze

Ingredients

  • Smoked Ham on the Bone 10 lbs
  • Brown Sugar ¼ cup
  • Ground clove 15 pieces
  • Maple syrup ¼ cup
  • Dijon Mustard 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 320°F.

Step 2

Remove the skin and fat (if any) from the ham, make shallow cuts, and stud with cloves. Place on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake for about 2 to 2.5 hours (20 minutes for every 450 grams), occasionally basting with the juices.

Step 3

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together the sugar, maple syrup, and mustard. About 40 minutes before the cooking time is up, remove the foil, brush the ham with the prepared glaze, and bake uncovered until done.
