  • Smoked Ham on the Bone 5 lbs
  • Apricot Jam ¾ cup
  • Ground clove 2 teaspoons
  • Dark rum 2 tablespoons
  • Banana-Orange Nectar 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil to taste
  • Dijon Mustard 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 355°F.

Step 2

Trim excess fat from the ham and make shallow crosshatch cuts on the surface. Insert cloves into each intersection. Lightly brush with olive oil, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 1 hour.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together the jam, rum, nectar, and mustard. Brush the ham with the mixture and bake for another 30 minutes. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
