Ingredients
- Smoked Ham on the Bone 20 lbs
- Water 30 fl oz
- Ground clove 48 pieces
- Fruit Marmalade 10 fl oz
- Creamy Horseradish 0 fl oz
- Brown Sugar 0 fl oz
- Orange juice concentrate 15 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F. Place the ham in a baking dish and make shallow crosshatch cuts with a sharp knife. Insert a clove into each intersection. Pour water into the dish and place it in the oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, mix the marmalade, horseradish, and sugar.
Step 3
Remove the meat from the oven and pour out the juices from the dish. Pour orange juice into the dish and brush the meat with a third of the marmalade glaze. Return to the oven for 10 minutes. Then drizzle with juice and brush with glaze again. Bake for another 20 minutes, basting with juice every 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate and serve hot, warm, or cold.
