Baked Ham with Brown Sugar and Spice Glaze
Ingredients
- Brown Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Ground coriander 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cumin ¾ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
- Honey 2½ tablespoons
- Ground clove ¼ teaspoon
- Smoked Ham on the Bone 5 lbs
- Orange juice concentrate 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, coriander, cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, and allspice. Rub the mixture over the ham and place it in a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix together the honey and orange juice.
Step 4
Remove the foil from the ham and brush it with the honey mixture. Bake for an additional 30 minutes uncovered. Transfer to a plate and let rest for 15 minutes.
