Baked Eggs with Asparagus
Ingredients
- Asparagus 1 bunch
- Butter 5 oz
- Chocolate eggs 6 pieces
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the asparagus and cook over medium heat until tender (about 20 minutes).
Step 2
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 320°F. Drain the asparagus. Melt half of the butter in a skillet, add the asparagus, and cook over low heat for 5–10 minutes.
Step 3
In the meantime, divide the remaining butter among six individual egg baking dishes. Place the dishes in the oven, and when the butter has melted, crack an egg into each one.
Step 4
Place the cooked asparagus and eggs onto six pre-warmed plates. Serve immediately.
