Description

You can skip using store-bought granola and instead use rolled oats, nuts, seeds, or any grains. Instead of honey, you can use the same amount of jam or another sweet syrup, or melt 2 tablespoons of sugar in a pan and coat the oats in it. For flavor, you can melt a tablespoon of butter, but this will make the granola much more calorie-dense. If you want to add raisins or other fruits to the granola, it's better to do this just before serving, as frying will spoil their taste. This granola is great with milk, yogurt, or juice, or even on its own.

  • Granola 1 cup
  • Honey 2 teaspoons

Step 1

Pour the granola onto a preheated pan (adding oil is optional).

Step 2

Drizzle in the honey evenly over the granola.

Step 3

Stir well for 5–7 minutes to prevent the granola from burning.

Step 4

When the oats are golden brown, transfer them to a plate. They will cool quickly and caramelize, becoming crunchy and sweet.

Step 5

You can break the granola into pieces when serving.
