Baked Camembert with thyme, garlic, and garlic bread
Ingredients
- Camembert cheese 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Thyme 4 sprigs
- Olive Oil 1½ tablespoons
- Ciabatta 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 2
Remove the cheese from any plastic or paper wrapping and place it back in the wooden box without closing the lid.
Step 3
Chop 1 clove of garlic into small pieces.
Step 4
Make several cuts in the cheese and stuff them with pieces of garlic and thyme. Drizzle with 0.5 tablespoons of olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
Step 5
Bake for about 10 minutes, until the center of the cheese melts.
Step 6
Slice the ciabatta into pieces and drizzle with olive oil. Toast on a grill or in a toaster, then rub with the remaining garlic.
Step 7
Place the cheese on a serving dish and arrange the toasts around it. Serve immediately.
