Baked Camembert with Cherries
Ingredients
- Camembert cheese 1 piece
- Marinated cherries 6 pieces
- Mixed Ground Peppers a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Ocean salt a pinch
- Herbs to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut off the top of the Camembert (about 5 mm thick).
Step 2
Place the bottom part in a baking dish that matches the width of the cheese (10–12 cm). Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Cut half of the top into triangles (for decoration), and chop the other half into small cubes.
Step 4
Use a spoon to make a hollow in the cheese.
Step 5
Chop the cherries coarsely and remove the pits.
Step 6
Place the cherries in the dish on top of the cheese.
Step 7
Add the remaining cheese, cut into cubes, on top.
Step 8
Send it to a preheated oven at 355°F.
Step 9
After 13 minutes, transfer to a hot stand and let it cool slightly.
Step 10
Place the cheese triangles on top, and season with the mixed pepper.
Step 11
Garnish with a couple of herb leaves and serve.
