Baked beet greens with garlic and parsley
Ingredients
- Salt to taste
- Butter 0 oz
- White bread 0 oz
- Safflower Oil 3 tablespoons
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Parsley 3 stems
- Mustard Greens 5 lbs
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the stems from the beet greens and chop them into 4 cm pieces. Place them in a pot, cover with water, and add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 35 minutes until tender. Drain the water.
Step 2
Arrange the stems in a baking dish and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and garlic. Drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and place pieces of butter on top.
Step 3
Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 390°F until the top is golden. Serve immediately.
