Baked Asparagus with Garlic-Lemon Sauce
Ingredients
- Asparagus 0 lbs
- Olive Oil 2 teaspoons
- Salt to taste
- Mayonnaise 2 tablespoons
- Water 2 tablespoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 2 tablespoons
- Anchovy fillet 2 pieces
- Garlic 1 clove
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the eggs in boiling water until hard, drain, and place them in cold water for a while. Peel and finely chop.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 430°F.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix the asparagus with olive oil, season with salt, mix well, and spread on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes until tender.
Step 4
Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Parmesan, water, chopped anchovies, minced garlic, and lemon juice.

Place the asparagus on a serving dish, drizzle with the sauce, and sprinkle with the chopped eggs.
