Asparagus with Gremolata

Ingredients

  • Butter 0 oz
  • Breadcrumbs 5 oz
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 0 oz
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Asparagus 15 oz
  • Citrus Zest Mix 2 teaspoons
  • Olive Oil 1½ tablespoons
  • Spices to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Melt the butter in a pan over high heat. Add the breadcrumbs and, using a wooden spoon, stir constantly until golden and crispy. Transfer to a plate and let cool.

Step 2

Mix the chopped parsley and garlic with the zest, add the breadcrumbs and spices to taste.

Step 3

In a pot, bring water to a boil, add the asparagus, and cook for 2-3 minutes or until tender. Drain well and place on warm plates. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with gremolata. Serve immediately.
