Aromatic Spaghetti Bolognese
Pasta and Pizza • European
Description
For busy cooks, you can simply buy ready-made Bolognese sauce (like Dolmio, for example).
Ingredients
- Ground meat 20 oz
- Oregano 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 1 clove
- Fresh basil leaves 1 bunch
- Red Grape Juice 1 glass
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Olive Oil 3 spoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2 spoons
- Celery stalk 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
- Baking Tomatoes 30 oz
- Spaghetti 20 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sauté the minced meat until it forms a golden crust. To achieve this, cook it in 2-3 batches instead of all at once, as otherwise the meat will boil. Once cooked, transfer the minced meat to a plate.
Step 2
Peel and chop the onion, carrot, and garlic together with the celery using a shredding attachment. Heat oil in a wok, add the prepared vegetables, and sauté over medium heat, stirring, until the onion becomes translucent, about 10 minutes. Add the minced meat and mix well. Pour in the wine and stir again. Cook until the wine has completely evaporated and the smell of alcohol has disappeared.
Step 3
Add the tomato paste and tomatoes along with their juice. Cook until it comes to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, sprinkle in the oregano and crushed basil, and cover with a lid. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce becomes smooth and rich. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Cook the pasta in salted water until almost al dente, then drain and transfer it to a wok with the sauce.
