Apple Sauce
Ingredients
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
- Apple 20 oz
- Sugar 10 oz
- Spices 3 tablespoons

Step 1
Peel and finely chop the apples.

Mix one teaspoon each of ground ginger, red pepper, turmeric, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into a pot with oil and heat for about 30 seconds.
Step 4
Add the apples and sauté for about 5 minutes until they are golden brown.
Step 5
Add water, cover with a lid, and cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the apples soften.
Step 6
Mash the apples in the pot, add the sugar, and cook until the sauce thickens.
