- Apple 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Activated Baking Soda ¼ teaspoon
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Honey to taste
- Maple syrup to taste
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Whisk the egg with baking soda and salt. Add the sour cream and mix. Gently fold in the flour. The batter should be quite thick.
Step 2
Carefully slice the apples into rings, removing the core. If you don't have a special tool for this, a teaspoon will work.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a pan, dip the rings in the batter, and fry them like pancakes. Ideally, the apple should soften during the cooking process. Serve hot with honey or syrup.
