Appetizer toasts with herring

Ingredients

  • Herring 5 oz
  • Green Apples 5 oz
  • Dill 0 oz
  • Unrefined Sunflower Oil 0 fl oz
  • Rye Bread 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

Step 2

Fillet the herring and remove the bones.

Step 3

Cut the herring fillet into very small cubes.

Step 4

Cut the apple into similarly small cubes.

Step 5

Finely chop the dill.

Step 6

Mix the herring, apple, and dill, and dress with sunflower oil.

Step 7

Cut the bread into square pieces measuring 4–5 cm on each side.

Step 8

Toast the bread pieces in a dry skillet on both sides.

Step 9

Top the toasts with the herring salad.

Step 10

Serve the appetizer toasts with alcoholic beverages, garnished with sprigs of dill.
