- Oats 10 oz
- Almonds 5 oz
- Pecans 0 oz
- Sesame Seeds 0 oz
- Flax seeds 0 oz
- Pumpkin Seeds 0 oz
- Honey 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Dates 0 oz
- Dried Apricots 0 oz
- Raisins 0 oz
- Ground Cinnamon 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a deep bowl, mix the dry ingredients: oats, raw nuts, and seeds. Add the cinnamon.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, melt the honey with the butter, pour it into the dry mixture, and mix well.
Step 3
Spread the sticky mixture evenly on a clean baking sheet and place it in a preheated oven at 265°F (approximately 266 degrees Fahrenheit) for about forty-five minutes (the finished granola should look deeply browned and dry).
Step 4
Chop the dried fruits and add them to the warm granola, then let it cool completely before transferring it to an airtight dry jar or plastic container.
