Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 4 tablespoons
- Ground Almonds 10 oz
- Almond 1 teaspoon
- Croissant 6 pieces
- Chopped almonds 0 oz
- Powdered Sugar 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 340°F.
Step 2
In a food processor, combine the softened butter, sugar, flour, ground almonds, and almond extract.
Step 3
Slice the croissants in half lengthwise and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet. Spread almond paste on them, reserving a quarter of the paste. Cover with the top halves and spread the remaining paste on top. Sprinkle with almond flakes and bake for 10 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
