Aged Tofu with Onions

Ingredients

  • Tofu 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 0 oz
  • Soy Sauce 0 fl oz
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
  • Sesame Oil ¼ spoons
  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Cilantro 0 oz
  • Spanish onions 0 oz
  • Garlic 0 oz
  • Marinated cherries 3 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the tofu into 2 rectangular pieces.

Step 2

Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture and coat in flour.

Step 3

Sauté the tofu in a preheated skillet with plenty of vegetable oil until it forms a golden crust.

Step 4

Place the fried tofu on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Step 5

Prepare the sauce. Combine 35 grams of soy sauce, 35 grams of vegetable oil, and 15 grams of lemon juice. Add a few drops of sesame oil for flavor. To this mixture, add finely diced red onion, 2 grams of chopped cilantro, and 10 grams of sugar. Whisk together.

Step 6

Add 2 grams of grated fresh ginger and 2 grams of grated garlic to the prepared sauce.

Step 7

Cut 3 cherry tomatoes in half and add them to the prepared sauce.
