Adyghe Cheese Appetizer with Pesto Sauce
Ingredients
- Adyghe cheese 5 oz
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Mild Chili Spice to taste
- Toasted Sesame a pinch
- Herbs to taste
- Pesto 6 tablespoons
- Ocean salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the cheese into slices about 1–1.5 cm thick.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a skillet.
Step 3
Place the cheese in the oil.
Step 4
Season with black pepper.
Step 5
Then add salt.
Step 6
Once the bottom side is browned, flip it over.
Step 7
Arrange herbs on a plate.
Step 8
Once the second side is browned, remove from heat and place on the plate.
Step 9
Spread pesto sauce on top (1 tablespoon for each slice).
Step 10
Season with chili pepper, sesame seeds, and serve.
