Ingredients

  • Sugar 15 oz
  • Chicken Egg 6 pieces
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Sour Cream 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Cocoa Powder 2 spoons
  • Activated Baking Soda a pinch
  • Walnuts 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cream the softened butter with half of the sugar (180 grams). In another bowl, crack the eggs, add the remaining sugar (180 grams), and lightly beat the mixture with a whisk or mixer. Pour the egg mixture into the butter mixture and mix well. Add the baking soda and baking powder to the sour cream and mix thoroughly.

Step 2

Add the sour cream to the butter and egg mixture and stir well. Gradually incorporate the sifted flour, then add the chopped nuts and mix again thoroughly.

Step 3

Divide the dough into 2 equal parts.

Step 4

Add cocoa, sifted through a fine sieve, to one part of the dough and mix well.

Step 5

Grease a baking dish with butter and dust it with flour or breadcrumbs (you can also line the dish with parchment paper). Place 2 tablespoons of the light batter in the center of the dish. Pour 2 tablespoons of the dark batter in the center of the light batter. Continue layering the batters in this manner until all the batter is used.

Step 6

Bake the pie for 45–60 minutes in a preheated oven at 170–355°F.

Step 7

If the pie has browned significantly on the outside but is still uncooked on the inside, cover the top of the pie with foil and continue baking until fully cooked.

Step 8

Remove the finished pie from the oven, let it cool slightly, and carefully take it out of the mold.
