You can substitute yogurt with sour cream and the liqueur with vodka.
Ingredients
- Sugar 2 cups
- Natural Yogurt 1 cup
- Vegetable Oil 1 cup
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Vanilla salt to taste
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Milk ½ cup
- Citrus Zest Mix 1 tablespoon
- Liqueur 1 tablespoon
- Mini Chocolate Chips to taste
- Wheat Flour 3 cups
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the egg yolks with sugar, add vegetable oil, yogurt, and lemon zest.
Step 2
Add flour and yeast (previously dissolved in milk), add vanilla sugar, and slowly incorporate the well-beaten egg whites, stirring the batter with a wooden spoon.
Step 3
Add liqueur and chocolate to taste.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured baking pan and bake at 355°F for 40 minutes.
Step 5
When the cake cools, dust with powdered sugar.
