Yeast Pancakes with Milk

Ingredients

  • Milk 2 cups
  • Salt a pinch
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Sugar 2 teaspoons
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Water ½ cup
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In half a cup of warm water, add the yeast, dissolve it, and add a pinch of sugar. Add half of the flour. Mix, cover with a damp towel, and place in a warm spot for 1 hour.

Step 2

Beat the yolk with sugar and salt.

Step 3

Take out the dough, knead it, mix, and gently fold in the yolk. Add 1 tablespoon of melted butter (not hot!). Mix. Add the second half of the flour. Mix. Pour in the cup of warm milk. If the dough is still thick, gradually add the next cup of milk. The dough should be like sour cream, spreading easily in the pan.

Step 4

Place it back in a warm spot until the dough noticeably increases in size.

Step 5

Whip the egg white.

Step 6

Take out the dough, gently fold in the egg white with a wooden spoon. Leave for another 20–30 minutes.

Step 7

Bake.
