Description
Prepare the dough just before baking. Dry yeast can be replaced with pressed yeast, previously dissolved. Use the dough completely — it cannot be stored. This dough is perfect for meat pies and pastries.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 0 lbs
- Water 0 qt
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil ½ cup
- Dry yeast 1 tablespoon
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour the flour into a bowl intended for kneading the dough. Add salt, sugar, and yeast to the flour. Mix with a spoon or by hand.
Step 2
Pour in the vegetable oil.
Step 3
Gradually add warm water while kneading the dough by hand. The dough should be smooth and soft without lumps. The amount of water needed depends on the type of flour. You may not need a full liter.
Step 4
Cover the bowl.
Step 5
After 30 minutes, mix the dough again, greasing your hand with vegetable oil.
Step 6
Cover the bowl.
Step 7
After another 30 minutes, place the dough on a floured cutting board. Knead the dough. Divide it into pieces of your desired size.
Step 8
Bake in a skillet with vegetable oil.
