
Yeast Dough for Fried Pies

Description
This dough is suitable for any filling. The pies can be sweet. The products turn out very soft and can confidently be left for the second day.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 cups
- Sugar 3 tablespoons
- Water 15 fl oz
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil 5 tablespoons
- Dry yeast 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the yeast with one tablespoon of sugar in warm water for 5 minutes (you can use fresh yeast — 50 grams).
Step 2
Combine warm water, salt, sugar, oil, and add the yeast. Mix well.
Step 3
Add the flour one cup at a time, kneading the dough.
Step 4
Place the finished dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap. Put it in the refrigerator for 4 hours. During this time, knead the dough 1–2 times.
Step 5
Fry the pies in a large amount of oil. Place the finished pies on paper towels to remove excess fat.
