Whole Grain Crackers
Ingredients
- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour 5 oz
- Oat flakes 5 oz
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Applesauce 5 oz
- Water 5 fl oz
- Sugar Substitute 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the two types of flour, sweetener, salt, and baking powder.
Step 2
Add the applesauce and mix by hand until homogeneous. The dough will be very thick and dry.
Step 3
Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for half an hour.
Step 4
After that, take it out, roll it out into a thin layer (3–5 mm), and cut out cookies using a mold.
Step 5
Bake on parchment paper or a silicone mat for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 355°F (the thicker you roll the dough, the longer it will take). You will get delicious crispy cookies.
