White Sour Cream Fudge with Cherries and Walnuts
Ingredients
- Sour Cream 5 tablespoons
- Powdered Sugar 2¼ cups
- Milk ¼ cup
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Light Corn Syrup 1 tablespoon
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Vanilla salt 1 teaspoon
- Almond 1 teaspoon
- Chopped almonds 1 cup
- Ground dried cherries 0.3 cups

Grease a 20x20 cm (8x8 inch) square pan with butter.
Step 2
In a saucepan, combine powdered sugar, sour cream, milk, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Place over medium heat and stir until smooth. Reduce heat and let it simmer slightly. Cook until the mixture reaches about 114–240°F (237–239 degrees Fahrenheit).
Step 3
Remove from heat and cool for about 1 hour until the temperature reaches 43–110°F (110–111 degrees Fahrenheit).
Step 4
Then, lightly beat the mixture until it starts to lose its shine and thickens. Quickly fold in the walnuts and quartered cherries.
Step 5
Pour into the prepared pan, smooth it out, and let it set. Cut into squares.
