Description

The main focus here is the sauce, which the pancakes are served with on the plate. It's not quite a filling, but an all-encompassing sweet and fragrant mixture that can even be eaten by the spoonful without the pancakes.

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Milk 15 fl oz
  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Sugar 4 spoons
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Salt ½ spoons
  • Prunes 5 oz
  • Walnuts 0 oz
  • Oranges 4 pieces
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the flour, salt, and 2 tablespoons of sugar with the milk and eggs. Melt a piece of butter in a pan and wait until it starts to sizzle, then remove the pan from the heat. Pour the butter into a separate container to let it cool slightly, and then mix it with the batter. Place the prepared batter in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 2

In the meantime, pour the juice of 4 oranges over the walnuts and prunes, add 2 tablespoons of sugar, and place in a saucepan over low heat. Simmer the walnuts and prunes for about 1 hour.

Step 3

Remove the dough from the refrigerator, heat a skillet, and brush it with vegetable oil to cook thin pancakes. Serve the pancakes with a sauce made of nuts, prunes, and orange juice. For convenience, you can blend the sauce until smooth in a blender. However, the sauce tastes better when left chunky.
