Ingredients
- Watermelon 5 lbs
- Sugar 1 cup
- Water ¾ cup
- Tequila ½ cup
- Triple sec liqueur ¼ cup
- Lime 2 pieces
- Coarse Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the watermelon into 4 parts and slice it. Arrange in a single layer in a dish.
Step 2
In a saucepan, bring water, sugar, tequila, and liqueur to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Slightly cool and pour over the watermelon slices. Refrigerate for 45 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the slices from the syrup and arrange them on plates.
Step 4
Squeeze lime juice on top and sprinkle lightly with salt.
