Watermelon Sherbet with Lime Juice
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Water 5 fl oz
- Lime Juice 2 tablespoons
- Watermelon 0 qt
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water, bring to a boil and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.
Step 2
In a blender, combine watermelon flesh and lime juice. Blend until smooth. Then strain through a sieve, squeezing out the juice.
Step 3
Mix with the sugar syrup.
Step 4
Freeze in an ice cream maker or transfer to a container and place in the freezer until solid, stirring every 30 minutes.
