Ingredients

  • Shelled pumpkin seeds 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Chicken Egg 3 pieces
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Milk 5 fl oz
  • Vanilla Pod 1 piece
  • Salt 1 tablespoon
  • Activated Baking Soda 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Lightly toast the walnuts in a dry skillet, grind them into a fine crumb, and mix with the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Step 2

Using a mixer, beat almost all of the room temperature butter and sugar together until the mixture is pale and smooth.

Step 3

Add the contents of the vanilla pod and the eggs to the butter and sugar mixture, beat for another two minutes, then pour in the milk and continue to beat. Gradually fold in the nut-flour mixture to create a smooth batter.

Step 4

Grease the pie dish with a small amount of oil and transfer the dough into it.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake the pie for fifty minutes. Allow to cool, then serve.
