- Almond 5 oz
- Raisins 5 oz
- Cinnamon 1 tablespoon
- Sugar 5 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Powdered Sugar 2 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Knead the dough using flour, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, egg yolks, and 125 ml of water.
Step 2
Roll the dough into a small ball, brush the top with vegetable oil, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest for an hour.

Crumble the bread and toast the crumbs.
Step 4
Combine the chopped and peeled apples with the chopped almonds and raisins, then drizzle with the juice of one lemon.
Step 5
Roll out the dough into a thin layer, generously spread it with butter and sour cream, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, cinnamon, and sugar, and evenly distribute the apple and raisin filling along the entire length.
Step 6
Roll the dough into a log, brush the top with more oil, and place it on a greased baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 390°F for 45 minutes.

Dust the finished strudel with powdered sugar.
