Very Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients
- Sugar ¾ cup
- Cocoa Powder 0.3 cups
- Corn Starch 3 tablespoons
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Cream 2 cups
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- Vanilla extract 1½ teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, cocoa, and salt. Gradually add half of the cream, then the remaining cream. Place over medium heat and cook, stirring, until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Remove from heat and add chocolate and vanilla. Let sit for 5 minutes until the chocolate melts, then stir well to combine until smooth.
Step 3
Divide the pudding into 6 ramekins or glasses. Chill for 30 minutes to serve soft and warm pudding, or refrigerate for 30 minutes to 8 hours to set.
