Very Chocolate Ice Cream
Ingredients
- Cocoa Powder ½ cup
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Sugar ¾ cup
- Coconut Milk 3½ cups
- Corn Starch 2 tablespoons
- Salt 0.1 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix cocoa powder and ⅔ cup of milk until it forms a paste. Stir in the vanilla.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Slowly add the remaining milk, place over medium heat, and stir with a wooden spoon until it almost boils. Mix well and let it simmer on low heat for another 2.5–3 minutes.
Step 3
Then transfer the mixture to the bowl with cocoa. Mix well and cool.
Step 4
Freeze in a container or ice cream maker until ready.
