Description
If you don't have baking powder, you can add 0.5 teaspoons of baking soda, activated with lemon juice. I ended up with 30 cookies. The calorie content of one cookie is 75 kcal.
Ingredients
- Carrot 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grate the carrot on a fine grater. You should get about one cup of grated carrot.
Step 2
Cream the butter with the sugar. Add the grated carrot.
Step 3
Add the baking powder and flour to the mixture. Knead a not too stiff dough.
Step 4
Grease a baking sheet with oil or line it with parchment paper.
Step 5
Form small balls from the dough and flatten them to shape into cookies.
Step 6
Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 355°F and bake the cookies for about 20-25 minutes.
Step 7
The finished cookies can be dusted with powdered sugar.
