
Vegetarian Cabbage Soup

Description
Instead of tomatoes, you can use 3–4 tablespoons of tomato paste.
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
- White Cabbage 1½ kg
- Onion 2 heads
- Tomatoes 4 pieces
- Turnips 2 pieces
- Bay leaf to taste
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Bring water to a boil, add salt, and reduce the heat.
Step 2
Finely chop the cabbage and cut the potatoes into strips. Add them to the boiling water.
Step 3
Sauté the finely chopped onion in vegetable oil until golden, add the sliced carrots, sauté, then add the chopped tomatoes and simmer with a little water.
Step 4
Add the sautéed vegetables to the broth, add bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Before serving, stir in sour cream.
