  • Walnuts 1 tablespoon
  • Herbed Tofu 0 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Garlic 1 head
  • Onion 1 head
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 2 teaspoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 390°F. Cut the bell pepper into 4 pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with foil. Add the peeled onion as well. Roast until soft and slightly charred. Transfer the bell pepper to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it sit for a while. Peel the skin and seeds from the bell pepper. Remove the charred outer layer from the onion.

Step 2

Cut the top off the head of garlic and slice it into 4 parts. Place it on a piece of foil, drizzle with olive oil, wrap it up, and send it to the oven for about 20 minutes, until the garlic is soft. Let it cool.

Step 3

In a blender, combine the tofu with walnut oil and add the finely chopped bell pepper, squeezed garlic pulp, finely chopped onion, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
