Variety of Ice Cream Cocktails
Baking and Desserts • European
Description
Be careful when choosing ice cream — it affects the taste of your future cocktail! Opt for natural products made from real milk, without additives, vegetable fats, or other undesirable ingredients — read the packaging. Fortunately, it's quite possible to find such options available in paper bags. For a berry cocktail, you can use not just one type of berry; mixing various berries and fruits will make it even tastier! You can add cream to the cocktail, but I prefer ice cream that already contains 40% cream, so I don't add any separately.
Ingredients
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Vanilla Ice Cream 15 oz
- Chocolate 5 oz
- Liqueur 0 fl oz
- Fresh Berries 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
To prepare a classic milkshake, blend all the ingredients in a blender or with a mixer until smooth. Pour the resulting mixture into clear glasses and top each glass with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Step 2
For a chocolate cocktail, grate 20–50 grams of chocolate and break the remaining part into pieces. Pour hot milk over it. You can also use chocolate ice cream for the chocolate cocktail. A banana can be added as well. Blend the milk and chocolate ice cream until smooth. Pour into a glass and sprinkle with grated chocolate.
Step 3
For a berry cocktail (great for kids), mix the milk, ice cream, and half of the berries in a mixing bowl. Blend the mixture until smooth and pour into glasses. Top each glass with fresh cherry berries and serve.
Step 4
To prepare an alcoholic milk cocktail, you will need the following ingredients: 30 ml of liqueur, 50 grams of vanilla ice cream, 50 ml of milk, and berries (or a banana with chocolate). Blend the liqueur, milk, and ice cream together. Then add finely chopped berries. Pour the resulting mixture into a clear glass and sprinkle with grated chocolate.
