Description

Vanilla Cake in a Skillet

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 3½ cups
  • Condensed Milk 1 can
  • Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
  • Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
  • Milk 3½ cups
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Sugar 1½ cups
  • Vanillin 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

For the dough: mix 3 cups of flour, 1 can of condensed milk (400 g), 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Combine everything and knead a firm dough that does not stick to your hands.

Step 2

Form a sausage shape. Divide it into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a circle slightly larger than your skillet.

Step 3

Fry each layer in a preheated skillet without oil. About 1 minute on each side.

Step 4

For the cream, mix in a saucepan 3.5 cups of milk, 1.5 cups of sugar, 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons of flour, and vanillin. There should be no lumps.

Step 5

Cook the mixture over low heat until the cream thickens.

Step 6

Add 200 grams of butter. Stir well.

Step 7

Assemble the cake: trim the layers to make them the same shape (round, square, as you wish). Spread warm cream on each layer. Leave the cake in a warm place to soak for 40-60 minutes. You can sprinkle nuts on top (or add them to the cream). You can also sprinkle crushed leftover layers on top.
