Cut the butter from the refrigerator into small cubes.

Place the marshmallows in a large container and microwave for 30–60 seconds. The marshmallows will expand.

Step 3

Now act quickly: beat the marshmallows with a mixer, adding the butter piece by piece.

Step 4

After half of the butter is incorporated into the marshmallows, stop the mixer, place the jar with the cream in a pot of cold water, and continue to beat while adding the remaining butter piece by piece. Beat for about five minutes.
