Ukrainian Borscht

Ingredients

  • Pork Blood 10 oz
  • White Beans 1 can
  • Salad Potatoes 5 pieces
  • Beetroot 1 piece
  • Onion 1 head
  • Carrot 1 piece
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Tomatoes 2 pieces
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 1½ tablespoons
  • White Cabbage 5 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable Oil 5 tablespoons
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cook the meat together with the beans until done.

Step 2

Cut the potatoes into cubes and boil for 20 minutes.

Step 3

Slice the onion into half-rings, grate the beetroot and carrot, cut the tomato into cubes, and slice the pepper into half-rings.

Step 4

Sauté everything in a pan for 10 minutes, then add the tomato paste, 0.5 cup of water, and simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 5

Shred the cabbage and add it along with the sautéed mixture to the pot and cook for another 10 minutes.
