Two-Tone Sour Cream Cake

Description
Based on this recipe, you can prepare a variety of cakes. Use different syrups (liqueurs, infusions, tinctures, various creams, or jams).
Ingredients
- Sour Cream 20 oz
- Sugar 2 cups
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
- Salt a pinch
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and gradually add 1 cup of sugar until a stable foam forms.
Step 2
Add the baking powder to the flour, then incorporate 250 milliliters of sour cream into the mixture.
Step 3
Carefully mix all the ingredients into a homogeneous mass, which should be divided into 2 parts.
Step 4
In the second part of the batter, add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and mix again.
Step 5
Bake 2 layers separately at 355°F for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 6
While they are baking, prepare the cream. Mix 1 cup of sugar with the remaining sour cream (you can also add cocoa powder if desired).
Step 7
Cut the cooled layers into two slices.
Step 8
Layer them alternately, spreading sour cream frosting in between.
Step 9
Leave for 3–4 hours to soak and refrigerate to set.
