- Pumpkin 5 lbs
- Sugar 20 oz
- Water 10 fl oz
- Nuts 10 oz

Step 1
Peel the pumpkin and cut it into small pieces measuring 10x3 cm. Layer them in a pot, sprinkling sugar between each layer. Add water.
Step 2
Simmer for 50 minutes over low heat, then let cool. Transfer the cooked pumpkin pieces to a serving dish and sprinkle with crushed nuts. Optionally, you can add cream, raisins, or drizzle with tahini syrup.
