Turkish Chicken Soup with Chickpeas
Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 15 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Olive Oil 5 tablespoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce 1½ tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Chickpea 1 cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a pot, sauté the finely chopped onion in olive oil until golden brown.
Step 2
Add the diced chicken breast. Sauté lightly.
Step 3
Add 1.5 tablespoons of tomato paste. Sauté for a bit.
Step 4
Add the cooked chickpeas and pour in water.
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Let it simmer on low heat for 20–25 minutes.
